Microchipping
Microchipping is a good and simple way to ensure that your pet can be easily identified. In the event of your pet going missing it is a valuable form of identification, as collars and tags are easily lost.
It involves booking your pet in for an appointment with your vet, who inserts a chip under the skin around the back of the neck area. This can be done from any age.
The scanners used for reading your pets microchip are widely used with the police, dog wardens and rescue organisations.
